Professional Prints on Pottery

There is something truly legendary about capturing a tiny handprint or a loyal paw print in the heart of historic Battle. At Craft Time, Garf and Vicki specialize in helping you create these "frozen moments" on high-quality bisque.
Using our vibrant, non-toxic glazes, we assist you in transferring those precious prints onto your choice of pottery—from mugs and plates to commemorative tiles. Each piece is then glazed and fired in our kiln, creating a professional, food-safe keepsake that will last a lifetime.
How it Works in the Studio
-
Choose Your Bisque: Select from our wide range of pottery.
-
The Printing Process: We’ll help apply the glaze to the hand or paw and guide it onto the pottery for a crisp, clear finish.
-
Personalise: Once the print is dry, you can add names, dates, or even little doodles around the print.
-
The Kiln: We fire it here in Battle, and it's ready for collection in 7–10 days.
The "Pro-Painter" Checklist
Add this as a "Helpful Tips" section on the page:
-
What to Wear: We use water-based, non-toxic glazes that generally wash out of clothes, but we always recommend wearing something you don't mind getting a little "artistic" on!
-
For the Little Ones: Bringing a spare change of clothes for babies is never a bad idea—sometimes the toes get more paint than the pottery!
-
For the Furry Friends: Please ensure paws are clean and free of mud before you arrive so the glaze sticks perfectly to the piece.
-
Booking is Best: To ensure Garf or Vicki are available to help you with the actual printing, we highly recommend booking a "Print Session"
